With the rapid expansion of graduate numbers in the College, two Commencement sessions for our Graduating Class of 2024 were arranged. What's more, the Departmental Toasting Ceremony after the College Commencement session is back! Happy graduation to the College of Science's 2024 Graduating Class!
Researchers from City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) again achieved outstanding results at the 49th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva (IEIG), winning 36 awards altogether. Among them, six teams are from the College of Science. Their success demonstrates the College’s excellence in research and innovation.
The College of Science (CSCI)’s Master’s programmes delegates met with prospective students online at the two live information sessions held on 17 January and 22 February 2024, sharing the latest admission information.

Professor Denver Li, Assistant Professor from the Department of Physics, has been honoured with this year’s Chen Ning Yang Award (C. N. Yang Award) for his groundbreaking discovery and synthesis of the first nickel oxide superconductors.
