CityU is privileged to receive a HK$120 million donation from Dr Lee Shau-kee, Chairman of Henderson Land Development Company Limited, to support the long-term development of the University.

A delegation from The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA), led by its President, Dr Dennis Ng Wang Pun, visited CityU to meet with the student recipients of “CMA Student Exchange Scholarships” and “CMA Global Work Attachment Awards” at the tea gathering hosted by CityU President Professor Way Kuo on 27 July 2018. The gathering was also joined by Professor Matthew Lee, Vice-President (Development and External Relations), Ms Kathy Chan, Associate Vice-President (Development & Alumni Relations), and Mr Gavin Kwok, Director of Development.

Student Residence Hall 8 at CityU has been named Yip Yuen Yuk Hing Hall in appreciation of the support and generous donation of Dr and Mrs Yip Kit-chuen.

Executive Classroom 6208 in the Lau Ming Wai Academic Building has been named the “Allen Shi Lop Tak Executive Classroom”.

Lecture Theatre 5 in the Yeung Kin Man Academic Building has been named “Mr and Mrs Lau Tat Chuen Lecture Theatre” in appreciation of the support and generous donations given by Mr and Mrs Lau to CityU.

Classroom B5-208 in the Yeung Kin Man Academic Building has been named the “Pao Ho Mei Chun Classroom” in appreciation of the generous support of Mrs Pao Ho Mei-chun.
