On 24 May, CityUHK hosted a series of alumni events in Shenzhen to foster the vibrant alumni community in the Greater Bay Area. This included the launch ceremony of the Alumni Lounge and a reunion dinner that drew over 300 participants.

To strengthen ties with graduates in the North China region, CityUHK hosted a grand alumni reunion dinner in Beijing on 22 March and welcomed over 240 esteemed alumni and guests from academia, the legal profession, business, and public service.

CityUHK held an Alumni Reunion Dinner in Shanghai on 28 September, which was joined by over 200 alumni from various cities in the mainland to celebrate CityUHK’s 30 years of excellence at the dinner.

CityUHK hosted the naming ceremony for the Benjamin & Anny Kwok Conference Room on 4 October, on the 4/F of the Yip Kit Chuen Building, in recognition of alumnus Mr Benjamin Kwok, Managing Director of Kwonnie Electrical Products Limited, and his family's steadfast support for the University.

More than 20 members of the CityUHK community were named on the 2024 HKSAR Honours List for their significant contribution to Hong Kong and their dedicated public and community service.

Congratulations have poured in for alumna Ms Grace Lau Mo-Sheung after she secured the world's number one ranking in female kata.

Over 550 distinguished guests attended the dinner of the CityU Foundation earlier, at which HK$16.8 million, a new record, was raised to support the strategic research development of the University.
