CityUHK held the Community Yoga Fun Hour cum Open Day at the Lee Shau Kee Student Residence Village on 22 February. With a large-scale yoga experience and a series of exciting activities, the event aimed to foster interaction and connections between CityUHK and the community.

CityUHK SRO organised a study tour to Lushan, Jiangxi, in May to deepen students’ understanding of the history, culture and developments in the mainland. The tour also aimed to broaden the students’ horizons and help them achieve holistic growth through diverse off-campus learning activities.

Organised by the Student Residence Office of CityUHK, a series of activities capturing the essence of Chinese traditions were held at the Spring Festival on 22 February. More than 1,500 students from various countries and areas gathered to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

Despite the drizzle in Hong Kong just before the Chinese New Year, President Way Kuo of City University of Hong Kong distributed lucky gift packs in person at the Student Residence on 10 February.

The Student Residence was humming with excitement for the annual Joint Hall Gala Dinner on 24 February.

Over 700 students from different countries attended the 2016 Joint Hall Gala Dinner held at the Student Residence on 26 February.

More than 400 student residents and guests gathered at Wong Cheung Lo Hui Yuet Hall at CityU for the Inter-hall Singing Contest cum Professor Edmond Ko Cup Prize Presentation.

Around 500 students from different regions and countries promoted unity at the Joint Hall Dinner held at CityU on 3 March.

About 300 students celebrated cultural diversity at the “CityU Global Festival Night 2014” on 8 October.

About 100 participants including students and members of CityU departments celebrated the Diwali festival.
