To attract bright local talents, reward academic excellence and nurture students with all-rounded development and overseas experience, CityU has established the “CityU Scholarships for Hong Kong Talents” for students with excellent public examination results to pursue government-funded bachelor’s degree programmes. In the academic year 2022-23, four undergraduate students of School of Law were awarded the scholarships; two of them were awarded the Institutional Scholarships and the other two were awarded the Dean’s Scholarships.

Two recipients of the Institutional Scholarships are HIU Cheuk Yan (LLB) and XU Yuze (LLB). CHAN Sing Tok (LLB) and WONG Yanjik (LLB and BA Law and Accountancy) are awardees of the Dean’s Scholarships. They will receive HK$30,000 – HK$80,000 each year during their 4 years (for LLB) or 5 years (for LLB and BA Law and Accountancy) of studies at City University of Hong Kong based on satisfactory progress toward the degree. They will also enjoy global experience through overseas exchanges, work attachments, academic mentorship and personal development guidance.
