Congratulations to Professor Lauren Yu-Hsin Lin for her appointment as the President of The Asian Law and Economics Association (AsLEA)
The board of the Asian Law and Economics Association (AsLEA) has appointed Professor Lauren Yu-Hsin Lin as the President from January 2025 for two years.
The Asian Law and Economics Association was established in 2005 and has been committed to advancing the study and application of law and economics in Asia. The primary objective of AsLEA is to promote the research and application of law and economics in Asia, fostering intellectual exchange among scholars, policymakers, and practitioners. Each year, AsLEA's conference gathers accomplished scholars from leading universities and research institutions across Asia and globally to discuss the latest developments in law and economics, with a particular focus on applying these tools to address legal issues in Asia. To date, AsLEA has successfully organized 20 conferences across major Asian jurisdictions, including Hong Kong, India, Japan, Mainland China, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
