Durham University Law School visited CityU School of Law
A delegation from Durham University Law School visited the School of Law of City University of Hong Kong on March 7th to strengthen the collaborative relationship between the two institutions in legal education and research.
The Durham University Law School delegation included Professor Volker Roeben, Dean and Professor of International Law, and Professor Chen Lei, Chair in International Arbitration and Chinese Law. Acting Dean of School of Law of City University of Hong Kong Professor Lin Feng along with Associate Dean Professor Wan Wai Yee and Associate Dean Dr Ding Chunyan received the delegation.
Professor Lin Feng welcomed the Durham Law School delegation. Professor Lin said: “CityU Law School aims at global leadership and regional pre-eminence, therefore, we search for competitive partners around the world. I believe that an intimate partnership between the two schools will guarantee mutual benefits.”
Discussions covered joint collaboration programmes, student exchange agreement, staff exchange agreement, visiting PhD students, research collaborations, funding opportunities, etc. The two sides looked forward to comprehensive academic cooperation and student exchanges between CityU and Durham in the future.
杜倫大學法學院代表團於3月7日訪問了香港城市大學法學院，以加強兩個機構於法學教育和研究方面的合作關係。
杜倫大學法學院代表團包括院長兼國際法教授 Volker Roeben 教授，以及國際仲裁和中國法系主任陳磊教授。 香港城市大學法學院署理院長林峰教授、副院長溫慧儀教授、副院長丁春艷博士接待了代表團。
林峰教授對杜倫法學院代表團一行表示歡迎。林教授表示：“城大法學院以全球領先和區(qū)域領先為目標，因此，我們在全球範圍內尋找有競爭力的合作夥伴。我相信，兩所學校之間的密切合作將保證互惠互利。”
