Professor Way Kuo, CityU President, delivered his debut talk at City Cultural Salon on 22 May. He shared his professional interpretations with guests on the topic "Reliability Since Time Immemorial".

INSO and the CityU Buddy Scheme staged a high-table farewell dinner for exchange and non-local students on 24 April. Typifying the internationalisation of the campus, students exchanged stories and impressions of their experiences studying at CityU.

CityU entered a team in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon in February, which marked the start of Wellness March 2008. More than 300 staff, alumni and students participated in the event.
