CityUHK hosts "Innovation@Community Carnival" to promote the impact of innovation
From 2 to 5 January, CityUHK hosted the "Innovation@Community Carnival" at D2 Place ONE in Lai Chi Kok. The event featured a series of exciting activities, providing visitors with the opportunity to experience the innovative spirit and achievements of the start-ups under the University’s flagship innovation and entrepreneurship programme, HK Tech 300, as well as those of the University’s partners and CityUHK alumni.
Innovation@Community Carnival: Exploring ideas that shape the future
The Innovation@Community Carnival, held from 2 to 5 January 2025, transformed the vibrant venue at D2 Place ONE into a dynamic showcase of technological advancements, entrepreneurial ingenuity and creative engagement. Organized by the Office of Vice-President (Community Engagement) of CityUHK, the event featured five thematic zones, namely, Education, Sustainability, Food, Lifestyle, and Healthcare, and offered an array of STEAM workshops, busking performances, and interactive experiences, including a game booth designed by alumni of CityUHK’s School of Creative Media.

An inspiring campus visit for TWGHs Kap Yan Directors' College
On 20 December 2024, students from TWGHs Kap Yan Directors' College visited the CityUHK campus, exploring the University's offerings and vibrant campus life.
Participants attended an informative admission talk, explored engaging exhibitions, and enjoyed a guided campus tours that allowed them to glimpse life at CityUHK and taste the unique flavour of CityUHK milk.

Promoting community health through diabetes prevention event
The Office of the Vice-President (Community Engagement) of CityUHK, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Centre for Celebro-Cardiovascular Health Engineering (COCHE) and the New Home Association (NHA), hosted an event at NHA HOME centre at Sham Shui Po to raise awareness of diabetes and promote preventive health measures on 19 December 2024.
Building community bonds: CityUHK showcases innovation at Bazaar Only.Coffee Festival
CityUHK participated in the Bazaar Only.Coffee Festival on 14 and 15 December 2024 at Maple Street Playground in Sham Shui Po. The two-day event attracted nearly a thousand visitors to the “CityUHK@Sham Shui Po” themed booths, creating an opportunity for the University to strengthen its connections with the local community while promoting its brand and innovations.
