Career and Leadership Centre (CLC) of Student Development Services successfully organised a hybrid CityU Career Success Series (CSS) from 6 to 17 March 2023, bringing in more face-to-face networking opportunities after a brief hiatus since the pandemic to reconnect employers and CityU students back on campus.
Over 40 sessions of Career Enrichment Events were conducted including Recruitment Talks, Industry Insights & Mingle Series, Career Preparation Workshops, and other Signature Career Talks, in addition to One-on-One Career Consultations. On top of these events, a four-day networking function named “Employer Connect” was also organised for students to interact with seasoned executives and present themselves to potential employers. Altogether, the CSS engaged over 200 employers from 50+ renowned corporates and 2,700+ CityU students across levels of study.
Feedback from both participating employer partners and students was overwhelmingly positive, complimenting the Series as an excellent curated platform to connect employers with highly talented young calibres at CityU and, on the other hand, open up the door to limitless opportunities and potential employers for CityU students.
CLC will continue to engage experts and professionals across industries for close partnerships and collaborations to bring valuable career opportunities to CityU students.
