A Welcome Gathering for the second cohort of the Global Research Enrichment and Technopreneurship (GREAT) students was held on 15 September 2022.
Applying knowledge learnt in university to help the needy is meaningful. Mr. Alvin Wijaya, a fresh graduate of the Department of Mathematics achieved this and completed the CityU X Sino Grand Challenges Scholars Program (CityU X Sino GCSP) in May 2022 with Gold Award under the patronage of Sino Group.
Freshmen of the College of Science (CSCI) were warmly greeted at the College Orientation held on 23 August 2022.
A delegation from the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) comprising Mr Ricky Chan, Executive Deputy Chairman, Mr Jason Chiu, Chairman of the Hong Kong Startup Council, Mr Bryant Chan, Chairman of FHKI Education Committee, and Ms Jamie Cheng, FHKI Associate Director, visited the College of Science on 5 August 2022.
The Virtual Commencement of the College of Science for Graduating Class of 2022 was held on 28 May 2022.
Six students from the College of Science have been admitted to the Joint Bachelor’s Degree Programme for entry in the 2022/23 academic year.
