
City University of Hong Kong’s (CityUHK) Positive Education Laboratory joined hands with The WEMP Foundation (WEMP) to hold the Launch Ceremony and Symposium for the Positive Education and Mental Health Promotion Ambassador Programme on 29 June, with the aim of promoting positive education among teachers and parents through various courses and activities between 2024 and 2026 to further enhance student well-being and mental health.

Professor Tinly Wong Tin-chee, Founder and Executive Director of Herbalgy Pharmaceutical Limited, Executive Director of Wong To Yick Wood Lock Ointment Limited, Member of the Board of Governors and Honorary Patron of the CityUHK Foundation, made a renewed donation to establish the first Named Presidential Assistant Professorship via the CityUHK Endowment Campaign for supporting the scholarly and research activities of young talented faculty members in the field of human health.

The first award ceremony for the Chau Sin Wo Scholarships for the School of Law of City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) was held in March to commend outstanding undergraduate law students. Three students won the award this year.

With the renewed donation support from Dr Joseph Lee, GBS, OStJ, JP, Chairman of the Wofoo Foundation, Honorary Patron of City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Foundation and Court Member of CityUHK , the University recently launched the "Well-being Co-creation Programme" on the main campus in Kowloon Tong.
