CityU launched the first ever HK Tech 300 Southeast Asia Start-up Competition in Kuala Lumpur, extending the highly anticipated innovation and entrepreneurship programme to Southeast Asia to foster start-ups and innovation and technology development in the region.

Major events in European history and an appreciation of comic art from a cultural and historical perspective feature at a new exhibition at CityU. Co-organised by Cultural Exchange Oasis and the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, the “Europe in a Comic Strip” exhibition will run from 5 May to 16 June.

A banquet themed “Fifteen Years Beyond Boundaries” was held on 4 May in honour of President Way Kuo, who is stepping down as President of CityU at the end of his third term and 15 years of dedicated service.

The opening ceremony for the renovated Health Centre was held by CityU on 24 April. Starting from 25 April, CityU students, staff, and faculty can enjoy better services at the Health Centre with enhanced hardware and software.

An award ceremony was held by Clarivate at CityU on 29 March, commending 29 CityU scholars for being named Highly Cited Researchers for 2022, placing CityU 50th worldwide in this citation ranking.
