The Career and Leadership Centre of the SDS at CityUHK collaborated with the Civil Service Bureau of the HKSAR Government to host the first "Government Career Fair 2024" of the academic year on 11 September.

CityUHK held the HK Tech 300 National Start-up Competition 2nd Award Ceremony and the launch of the 3rd Competition at CityUHK (Dongguan). The 3rd Competition will expand to 12 mainland cities, including Dongguan, Hangzhou, and Xi'an, to promote more robust and widespread innovation development.

CityUHK (Dongguan) held its Grand Opening Ceremony on 2 September. This also marks the first school day of CityUHK (Dongguan).
